God asks that we take the firstfruits of His provision and return a portion to Him (Proverbs 3:9-10).

In response to God’s bounty, stewards ought to be sensitive to the needs of others and be willing to help as they have the opportunity (1 John 3:17-18), before spending money on personal pleasures.
God’s faithful and sovereign provision, when managed as described above (1 Corinthians 4:2), is to be enjoyed and appreciated (1 Timothy 6:17).
