About Life Institute

Partnering with churches to help disciple Christians, offer practical Biblical teaching for everyday stewardship decisions, and provide personalized family guidance and instruction from a Biblical worldview

Our Purpose & Mission

Life Institute exists to serve churches by helping Christians establish a Biblical framework for everyday financial decisions. Through stewardship seminars and ministries, Life Institute partners with churches to help disciple Christians, offer practical Biblical teaching for everyday stewardship decisions, and provide personalized family guidance and instruction from a Biblical worldview. At Life Institute, we are passionate about seeing churches succeed by helping them develop a healthy culture of Biblical financial stewardship. Life Institute has served churches and families around the world as a ministry of the Life Financial Group for over thirty-years.

Our Philosophy of Money

At Life Institute, we believe Biblical truths should transform every aspect of life; this includes the way we view and manage our money. We understand God owns everything, including our money, and we should practice Biblical stewardship over all our resources and gifts, but we also understand there are priorities and a sequence to managing our money. Therefore, we believe spending should not come before giving, and luxuries should not come before saving. The following, scripturally based, priorities are based on a sequential order of importance.

A Biblical Framework for Financial Priorities

Give: God asks that we take the firstfruits of His provision and return a portion to Him (Proverbs 3:9-10).

Save: The family must retain financial freedom with reserves and practicing wise long-term management (Proverbs 21:5, 20; 1 Timothy 5:8).

Spend: Being honest, timely, and just with creditors fulfills our ethical obligations and supports our consistent testimony to the world (Romans 13:7; 1 Peter 2:15).

Offerings: Stewards are to be sensitive to others’ needs and willing to help as they have the opportunity before spending money on personal pleasures (1 John 3:17-18).

Luxuries: God’s faithful and sovereign provision, when managed faithfully, is to be enjoyed and appreciated (1 Corinthians 4:2; 1 Timothy 6:17).
